Re: anovulationFrom: R. Daniel Braun, M.D. (rbraun@iunet.iupui.edu)Mon Mar 30 13:33:51 1998
I would also add preconception counseling and evaluation. If over 35 needs to be counseled re increased risk of Down syndrome. Need Rubella titer and Immunization if negative prior to inducing ovulation. Find out her Rh type, etc. If she has hypertension, counsel her re effects of pregnancy on hypertension and vice-versa. Don't let her find out by having an IUFD at 30 weeks. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
