I wonder if you can answer me a question. I am a GP in Hornsea East Yorkshire. The practice has undertaken to screen its patients for ovarian cancer if they have had a first degree relative that has suffered. We arrange Ultrasound every two years. Is this appropriate? Is the time interval right? Should we be doing anything else? What about second generations ie granddaughter? I have read some of the research about Ca 125, but I would like to know what is really practical and cost efective. Many thanks Ian Sibley-Calder GP Hornsea

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
