FWIW, a false-negative microscopic exam is much more likely than a false-positive dipstick reaction, so the dipstick not confirmed by micro should still be assumed to be true micro hematuria. (What you do about this is, however, a thornier question.)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
