There are a few patients who have had confirmed microscopic hematuria and neg cultures which I refer to our nephrologists for a workup. Several have had benign pathology in the renal calyx, most have nothing but are followed by the nephrologists. It is speculative whether such patients will go on to develop serious conditions. I don't want to get into a cost-effective discussion about it. If I miss a renal or bladder CA I would have a numerator.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
