In a message dated 98-03-10 07:54:24 EST, you write: << Not (yet) having had surgery I do not know whether she does in fact have FHC syndrome. Has anyone ever heard of this occuring with herpes?
>> Be sure to look also for oral ulcers, uveitis (especially if no evidence for biochemical hepatitis). Behcet's patients can be quite ill at presentation. Often it's not considered till herpes cultures come back negative. RUQ pain still uncommon but can be quite ill. arthur freeland warrensburg missouri

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
