Re: US for Choroid plexus cysts

I think I'm hopping into the middle of an ongoing thread, but for what it's worth I generally order a repeat US. I find that the anxiety raised requires the reassurance of a report stating that the CPC is no longer seen. On the other hand t here is the possibility that it will persist as you'll remember from a plea for help I made about 6 months ago. In t hat instance the baby was born healthy with the cyst but there was continued anxiety as we made sure it didn't get larger and cause intracranial problems. After that experience my counselling is different but I still offer a followup US . Hope this helps. Allen.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
