I've been off the list a few days out of town, and just have caught up.

Anyway, Deborah, you can't fix it all for everyone, as tough as that sounds. Your efforts are appreciated to be sure.

Geff and Jane:

Do you really want patients with whom you have no prior relationship (and maybe can't communicate with very well due to language and/or labor) to deliver vaginally?

I know that medically she is an easy breech delivery, and if I knew her, and discussed it in a calm setting, I would love it. As an ER walk in, however, is it worth it?

If she "refuses" with your approval, cool, just *write it down* and have her sign it.

Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
