Any Problems with Continous OCs?

I can not think of any solid reasons we Gyns do not promote the use of "continous OCs"(no med-free days) more often. I suppose some possible reasons are: 1. Higher break-through bleeding rates 2. Overall more med is given since there is not the one week off per month 3. if there is a pill error, continous OCs may delay pregnancy detection 4. Psychologic and possible symptomatic benefit of withdrawl.

If anyone could contribute to this list, I would greatly appreciate it. Also if any lit references are avail.
