Re: Fw: One/two/four hours of dystociaFrom: Arthurfree@aol.comSat Feb 21 22:26:32 1998
In a message dated 98-02-21 17:01:46 EST, you write: << In addition, we have shown that in some of these cases 2 mg of propranolol IV given twice at one hour intervals often leads to progressive dilation and enhances uterine contractility. >> Luis, Help me with this one, this is a brand new intervention to me. Is there a hypothesized (or proven) mechanism of action? This dose of propranolol would be considered homeopathic for any other purpose. Arthur Freeland Warrensburg Missouri

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
