In a message dated 98-02-20 22:41:10 EST, Bridgett writes: << As I previously said, many CNMs have a hard time determining when a patient is high risk. And I have previously said, many Obstetricians have a hard time determining when a patient is normal. >> In spite of being a gross overgeneralization, and a frank stereotype, there is a lot of truth here. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
