To set the record straight, I am not now, nor have ever been employed by a physician. I own my private practice. My insurance policy, as required by the hospital, carries $1 million and $3 million limits. So, in answer to your assertions that I am employed only because I'm cheap labor, I guess that's wrong, since woman coming to me specifically choose me. Secondly, there is no physician deep pocket. Thirdly, after over 1200 deliveries I have never been threatened with or been named in a malpractice suit.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
