You didn't answer my other question. Do you labor sit all of your patients from the moment they begin labor, and encourage them to come to the hospital ASAP in labor so they aren't dangerously laboring at home? What do other members of the list think about this, and CNM's not attending deliveries unless they can perform cesereans? Ingrid Gold, CNM

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
