Tim, your comment leads me to believe that you have never sat on the other side of the table from a lawyer who is doing his damndest to make you look and sound like a fool. It may be a little bit cavalier to state that fighting stupid lawsuits is simply the cost of doing business. Fight a few and then give me your opinion.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
