It may be the first step towards evidence based medicine. The small trial from Chicago which was stopped after an interim analysis will not answer the question, it will lead to larger trials. As for terbutaline via SQ pump, only one randomized trial exists (nB patients): randomized to SQ terb (n) SQ placebo (n) PO terb (n). This is hardly evidence based medicine! L. Sanchez-Ramos

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
