I've done a few of these. I one case, I found extremely tender US ligaments that looked normal. Pt hasn't been back yet, but I'll consider LUNA where otherwise I would have had no suggestions.

Several people in my hospital do a combined procedure - pain mapping under local, prepared to go to "full" laparoscopy with general if necessary. Seems to work fine.
