Re: Continue ERT/Recert ExamFrom: Terrence.Jones@ncal.kaiperm.orgTue Dec 30 12:20:54 1997
Yvonne Fried presented a similar case (of upper ext DVT and implications re: ERT) in early Dec. If thrombophilia has been R/O'd, might consider Paget- Shroetter if Pt is particularly 'active' (Meier (12/96) J Vasc Surg, 24:9774) Not sure who said it before, but remember Woody Allan's comment - "90% of life is just showing up". Took the recert in LAC-USC this year, and remain convinced a large measure of the exam is jus' findin' yer way thru LA traffic, negotiating the crowd in the waiting room, and using process of elimination to track down the sub-basement auditorium, and still be 'on-time'. Hmmmmmm, "Process of elimination"? What was the question, again? :)tj. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No real good theory as to etiology. All studies negative--no evidence thus ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ far for an occult malignacy or for clotting abnormalities ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gerald P. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
