We do pick up the odd IUD that way... > I've yet to come across a macerated stillbirth which exhibits good fetal movements! I have however come across a number of IUFDs with apparently normal CTGs and Doppler/Sonicaids ! If the fetus has no heart beat (and is dead) then then is there great benefit in this earlier recognition? The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
