In message <c=US%a=_%p=Americal_Medical%l=AMM1EXCH-971230142735Z- 4567@amm2mg1.americanmed.com>, Geffrey Klein <GK6972@americanmed.com> writes >My understanding of the reason for cesarean is patient request to avoid >the pain of labor, not to maintain perineal support... > >But my wife does point out that I am frequently wrong... > You leave us all curious! Do we take this to mean that Mrs Klein has only had CS deliveries and that her perineum is sound? In what circumstances (and quite how) does she remind you of this observation? ;-) Malcolm Griffiths MD,MRCOG,MFFP,Cert.Mgmnt Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Luton & Dunstable Hosp.,UK. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
