Hysterectomy?: yes. You'll be able to tell her it is not gynecologic then ;-)

Oophorectomy?: no, still a chance for ob-gyns

Vaginally, except if there seems to be a queer ureter on the KUB. A LAVH would be a good idea: will allow you to see what's going on inside and will reassure you about this ureter.
