Ricardo- Your series of posts has fallen on deaf ears, save Bernard. With hx of 7 day menses and now abnormal bleeding with pain plus dyspareunia adenomyosis is likely. Your consideration of adnexal torsion should be clarified by TVUS. With the hx of breast ca, a CT scan would be helpful. No mention is made of possible component of irritable bowel contributing. For completeness, a current bone scan and biochemical profile are justified. Regardless of above, if her clinical course since presentation is one of continuing pain, I would go right to scope. Best bet with current info: adenomyosis. Therapy: trial of depo-provera or GNRHa. Continued morbidity: vaginal hysterectomy; perhaps LAVH for look-see.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
