Once I've helped a surgery of a case like this. There was a fibroid degeneration during the first trimester of pregnancy (it was a subserosal fibroid) and it was removed during the pregnancy. The pregnancy did well. Unfortunately, at 20 weeks, not related with the procedure, it was diagnosed arthrogriposis multyplex congenita and the mother decided to terminate the pregnancy. Thus we were not able to know what would be the final outcome of that pregnancy.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
