I think we all have to remember when we deal with people and their lives we have to take the responsiblity for our actions. It doesn't matter whether you are a physician, midwife, nurse, etc. We must try to do our best, yes shit happens. I have found that the midwifes on this list have presented intesting cases and ideas. you must be able to look at it all with open eyes. Fot the 14 y/o that end up being sectioned. I personally believe that it was a failed induction and should not have been done the way presented I would have waited till 42 weeks, induced then with cytotec and when in good labor, active management with pitocin. The results may have been the same but the best methods were tried. Myer
