Re: c/sec in 14 y/oFrom: Gillian Sippert (ssippert@netcom.ca)Sun Nov 30 14:06:55 1997
P.S I am a Doula and work almost exclusively with the verry young teens. I just finished up with a client who was a young 14 and quite small. 8# 2 oz baby after 22 hrs of OP labour and 2 hrs pushing forceps rotation and delivery but it was better than a C-SEC. I agree this girl being discussed seems to have had a pretty rough ordeal primarily because her OB was uncomfortable! I too am upset by it!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
