Two options for patients with pcos are ovarian drilling and the use of an insulin lowering drug such as metformin or troglitazone. Both of these options significantly reduce the risk of multiple births and the cost of ovulation induction treatment as compared to gonadotropin cycles. http://www.ivf.com/pcostreat.html Mark Perloe, MD voice 404-265-3662 WWW Homepage: http://www.ivf.com Atlanta Reproductive Health Centre, 285 Boulevard, NE, Suite 320, Atlanta, GA 30312 It's always nice to hear humour when things are really bed!!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
