I saw a television report on why the cesarean rate in Brazil is 80%. Actually, it is due to maternal request. The report showed how the women who can afford private obstetrical care will only go to someone willing to perform cesarean delivery.

Those of you residing in Brazil can confirm or deny this...

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
