Re: oligohydramniosFrom: DRoss38040@aol.comSat Nov 29 00:25:39 1997
Dr. Joe: I meant anything EXCEPT bedrest. You know what I meant...no meds or interventional therapy. Is this email thread something like separation of church and state? It's hard for me to believe that you are all surprised that a doctor would tell a patient to pray, when they can't do anything else...especially when doctor and patient are all part of the same church in a small town. did it help fetus (oh, excuse me...she refused to call them fetuses!), I mean baby D? Actually, we'll probably never know because possibly the acuracy of an amniotic fluid index in a septuplet pregnancy may be a little off due to technical problems. 7 babies in one uterus is a really, really difficult and inexact chore at 30 weeks!! Didn't Marcus Welby, M.D. suggest prayer sometimes! :) Diana R.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
