I am interested to hear what the rest of the globe would advise a post-natal lady who had: severe pre-eclampsia HELLP IUGR baby LSCS at 31/40 (let's NOT repeat old threads like "VBAC or Bust" and "IUGR v. SFD" and defining severe PET) My thoughts were: Risk of recurrence 1 in 4 Likely to be less severe or appear later Take aspirin 75mg a day once pregnant Risk increases with new partner but don't keep him just to keep the risk down! GP to monitor non pregnant blood pressure

Do you say anything different?

Do you do anything different such as look for Lupus anti-coagulant etc ?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
