Acardiac twinFrom: Terrence.Jones@ncal.kaiperm.orgThu Nov 20 14:36:16 1997
Peter, check the archives from 12/21/95. Dr. Copel summarized the mgmt options nicely. The letter "SUBJECT" was "Acardiac". We've already lamented Dr Copel's absence in ref to Bernard's Pt. with fetal hydrops secondary to tachyarrythmia. His only contribution, since returning from sabbatical, was in ref to Dr. Montgomery's pt with aortic aneurysm and stenotic bicuspid aortic valve (10/1/97) and his e-mail address can be found there. Meantime, (the always dependable) Dr. Bui has consolidated things well. The consider- ation of thrombogenics, however, was not felt to be optimal per Dr. Copel's experience. As fetoscopy is NOT an alternative, a combined ultrasonic/endo- scopic approach might work. However, if the parasite is small, it may not pose a threat to high output failure in the donor. Oh, Marco, I'm a little unclear on your religious 'conviction' - Which of the nine circles were you suggesting she be sent? --or were you planning to construct a tenth? Why such restraint? :) tj.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
