literature seems to be conflicting as well. check these out:

Article Title: Angle closure glaucoma precipitated by labour. Article Source: Acta Ophthalmol (Copenh) 1990 Apr;68(2):225-6 Author(s): Kearns PP; Dhillon BJ

Article Title: The pregnant woman's eye. Article Source: Surv Ophthalmol 1988 Jan-Feb;32(4):219-38 Author(s): Sunness JS

basically, pregnancy has beneficial effect in lowering intra-ocular pressure. however, one case report of exacerbation in labor.

good luck!!!!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
