Hepatitis B Vaccine in PregnancyFrom: Michael J. Wolpmann, M.D. (elvis@llano.net)Thu Oct 30 22:04:42 1997
As the acquiring of a sexually transmitted disease constitutes a risk factor and reason to give the vaccine per ACOG, do listers recommend giving the vaccine to their pregnant patients for GC? Syphilis? Chlamydia? Trich? All of the above? Any of the above? Thanks.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
