happy 3rd bday ob-gyn-lFrom: Geffrey H. Klein, MD (gklein@bcm.tmc.edu)Wed Oct 29 21:35:08 1997
After reading Adam Engst's "Internet Starter Kit for Macintosh" in October of 1994, I jumped right into the use of cyberspace. I searched all around for a forum for ob-gyn's. None existed. In November of 1994, with the help of the IT department at Baylor College of Medicine, I started OB-GYN-L from their server. I released its existence to New-List and within days there were 100 subscribers. However, there were no posts. So I asked, "Surely, you must have something to talk about.." The conversation has now persisted for nearly 3 straight years. In the process we have created a community of providers who have genuinely helped me become a better doctor. Thanks so much! So let us all celebrate this fillibuster and hope it continues for many years to come.. Your humble listowner.. ---------------------------------- Geffrey H. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
