On 10/27/97, Richard Lowensohn asked about reglan's use in breastfeeding I have recently encountered a similar discussion with our lactation consultants. Seems there are instances of its use with preemies, and apparently, use to initiate lactatation in someone that is adopting a baby. The dose quated me was 10 mg tid-qid. I do not have the article handy, but if you would like it, e-mail me and I will bring it home from the hospital. Bill

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
