Today I saw a 6 weeks I would have respectfully offered to transfer her records to another health care provider, after explaining that this is simply one rule I am not going to break. This sounds like a dangerous situation. As someone mentioned, we live in an extraordinarily litigious society, and all it takes is a *suggestion* of sexual impropriety and a gynecologist, male or female, will be looking for another career. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
