It's in the June 1997 archive. I'll try to remember it. 1. Weigh yourself. 2. Tape a stethoscope onto the outside pointed end of the balance beam. 3. Reweigh yourself, expect to weigh 60 to 80 lbs less. 4. Without disturbing the stethoscope, weigh the patient. 5. Add the "weight of the stethoscope" to the patient's weight. I don't recall who posted it.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
