In a message dated 97-10-04 03:06:38 EDT, you write:

<< If I have a baby that I think needs to be in the Neonatologists hands in the next 5 minutes without fail, Hand me a pair of Tuckers or Simpsons so long as she is completely dilated with the head at 0 sta or lower. At the end of 3 minutes the neonatologist will have the baby. Hand me a Mityvac and in 5 minutes it will have popped off 3 times and the head might be down to +1. >>

With all due respect, Dan, to your experience, I think that in todays climate we would all have to be concerned about the use of forceps on a baby at "0" station.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
