Geff, The BHCG levels may not fall quickly after methotrexate. As long as there is some steady decline and the pt is asymptomatic I might have continued to follow her titers after the first dose. Now that you have given her a second (and apprpriate for surface area) dose I would expect that the BHCG levels would continue to decline. Check again on day 4 after this dose and on day 7. Even if day 4 levels aren't down much, day 7 levels should be. Be patient! Jay A. Naliboff, MD Farmington, ME

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
