HRT questions?From: berg@usa.netSun Aug 17 22:48:44 1997
I would like to know if anybody has informations estatistics of previous scanning of lesions atypical endometrial, before the use of therapy of replacement hormonal, in the following sequence below. Patients just menopaused that submitted the progesterona test. Were they only guided for ecografia transvaginal the ones what they had bloody, of these what did ecografia accomplish and what did have thickness smaller endometrial than 4-5mm diagnosed, in how many of these there was diagnosis histologic of atypical lesion even with inferior endometrio to 4-5 mm? I don't place in this group the obese patients... with harmed exam, endometrio >5mm, family history of ovary cancer, pelvic masses or other discoveries or questions. I understand that some suggested to accomplish histeroscopy immediately, biopsy etc... but unhappily the conditions of the public service in which I work are restricted. In the moment we don't have nor anestesistas for elective surgeries, nor forecast. Thankful the whole ones. ========================================= Guttenberg Primo MD Brasilia - DF / Brasil mailto:berg@usa.net ICQ UIN: 2009980 Brazilian Obstetrics & Gynecology Web http://www.brnet.com.br/pages/primo/primo.htm

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
