"Novus T" (??) I.U.D.From: Gerald P. Rodriguez (geraldpr@roadrunner.com)Sat Aug 16 15:09:37 1997
I saw a patient yesterday from Bulgaria who obtained the IUD cited above. She tells me it is the third IUD of this same type she has had. The first two were put in in Bulgaria and the last one in London. She is under the impression that is is good for 5 years, but did not know if it was a copper-bearing IUD. This IUD, I can tell you has a double, monofilament, dark "tail." She thought the above name was the correct one. Any thoughts, please. Gerald P. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
