Beats me. However, my program director (the same one that swears by injecting) says that it MUST BE placed vertically. He had an article (can't recall the reference right now) that showed why, but it didn't sway me at all. I'll try to find the reference and let everyone know. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
