Options I can think of...

a. Stop all estrogen for 3 mo. then rebiospy. If better, perhaps go to 0.375 mg. Vivelle patch, maybe 4 days on, 3 days off. If this works, maybe can go to endometrial ablation once e.m. is "normal."

b. Progestin patch is coming soon, according to my reps, but I can't remember which company.

c. D/C estrogen, try tamoxifen for possible partial relief of menopause symptoms.

d. Try very low dose continuous progestin, like Micronor (0.35 mg. norethindrone).

e. hyst

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
