I would eliminate the statement that laparoscopic approach is encouraged. There is a lot of disagreement as to the cost efficacy of the procedure so I would just leave the surgical approach up to the surgeon.

I also don't feel that it is necessary to state the kind of incision. You don't want to put too many limits on surgical judgement. You could simply state that if ovarian carcinoma is highly likely, then a midline incision is preferred.
