Vaginal GBS

Thanks for your response, and more questions:

1. Tried Amp, peroxide wash to help reestablish the vaginal flora. Have discussed hygiene, multiple times. Doesn't douche. Doesn't even like me to do exams, but agrees because the itching bothers her so much. Very faithful teen. Not sexually active. Isn't obese (in fact a skinny little thing). Screening for diabetes. She tries doing nothing, and then the burning/discomfort returns. Three Misc aerobic cultures come back "Many GBS", and nothing else. I relate E-coli and GBS as rectal flora, thus the same source. The discomfort seems all the time, not related to menses. I've repeatedly mentioned these things, and still she returns with complaints. Any further suggestions? Anyone had success with a Baking Soda douche. Does anyone every consider GBS a pathogen in non-pregnant women, and what will decrease its potency????

"".no tampons, no douching, no sex. No deodorized pads, no creams, no bubble baths. Clean with water only only, no soap or lotions. Only cotton crotch panties, etc. etc....
