Re: A puzzler from Women's Health ForumFrom: Samir Saidi (sam@saidi.prestel.co.uk)Tue Jul 8 06:26:00 1997
The other point is, when you excise a Pilonidal Sinus, (or at least when I have), one way of seeing if you have excised the whole neoductal sytem related to it is by injecting Methylene Blue dye into the sinus to delineate the extent. This may explain why the sinus cavity was deep blue. I don't understand the relation to the pv discharge though, as she says that this was present before the pilonidal. In which case, back to my first question....

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
