I must let everyone know that this list has grown in ways I had never imagined. Just a mere 34 hours after posting my manifesto, I am receiving mail from every corner of the globe. It appears that this message has escaped from the comfortable surroundings of OB-GYN-L. My mailbox is filled with e-mail ranging from ringing endorsement to stinging criticism.. I feel compelled to answer each and every one explaining that they are reading it out of context and that it was a joke.. I have a headache..

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
