Actually, I requested privileges to do C-sections at current hospital--I have done them elsewhere and our 3 family physicians who do OB do C-sections, but my privilege request was blocked by our one OB-GYN, over the protests of the family physicians. Gail Waldby, MD Huron Clinic SD General Surgery

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
