Another aspect for many of us who do not have any such choice; those of us who practice OB in a Catholic institution. Such a simple matter compared to the poor patient planning an interval tubal ligation after an expected vaginal delivery who has an unexpected CSection, then still has to have an interval tubal later as a second procedure. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
