I suppose I am guilty of holding back. This lady did say labia majora, but when I emphasized that they were likley a variant of normal and that it would be unlikely to operate on her she was dissatisfied with my responses. Although I did offer to examine her to confirm or refute this, she refused. Although I am sure that theissue was her labia minora, I cannot confirm or deny this. I was also forwarned by her family doctor that she was also interested in rhinoplasty (or a "nose job" as it was actually stated) and that she appeared to have several issues surronding body image. I must admit that I was supprised when I actually saw the patient. From my point of view she had no need for any concern. J.G.M. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
