Proceed cautiously in this area, one certainly must not reinforce distorted self-image of the woman's genitalia. If they're normal it vital to say so.

I have come across some women ( three in 2.5 years ) with very genuine symptoms and worries about excessive labia minora ( usually unilateral [ at least in 2 out of 3 ] ! ).

I have operated on two with good results. The third most recent was offered surgery but warned of risks and has for the time being accepted her condition.
