I too was taught this by one of ny attendings during my residency over 25 years ago, but still have never seen any corroboration or controlled study, LOL To add one more tidbit to this discussion...I remember reading that masturbation, and constant rubbing and stimulating the labia minora can cause them to hypertrophy? Any other cooroboration for this? Is there a cause for labia minora hypertrophy.
