Dr Hill, Are you using Misoprostol in those pts with PROM or in VBAC's? I used it the other day in a G1p0 that was still long, thick, closed and high at 42+ weeks (per 1st trimester u/s). She had had no appreciable change despite several Prostin gels... 6 hours after 50mcg intravaginally she was 3cm/90% - delivered vaginally with a little help from pitocin and forceps. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
